Chad dropped off a Powertap wheel he bought used.  The rim had some dings and a flat spot, and replaced spoke laced the wrong way (it hit the cassette!), so we trashed the rim and rebuilt the hub into a Boyd Altamont rim with new spokes and nipples.  Now Chad can train with power, but doesn’t have to worry about the durability of his wheel.

At 3 o'clock you can see the spoke that was laced up wrong - it hit the cassette. You couldn't even ride this wheel.
