December has been a crazy busy month! Not only did we have Christmas traveling and shoping to do, but we moved earlier this month and chores and fixing up the new house has ate almost all of my spare time. I’ve been turning out the wheels all month but haven’t had time to do any blog posts, so here’s a quicky photo recap.
Hope you all had a great Christmas, have a fun and safe New Year, and I’ll see you all in 2016!
Kyle’s wheels were really cool, and I didn’t manage to get any pics of them, but he sent me this photo of them on the bike. Super bright pink Onyx hubs with a SS rear hub, Nox Teocalli carbon rims. BOSS.
We had to get a new stove for the new house, and I wont bother you with all of the details, but, lets just say it was a big ordeal getting it and the new refrigerator installed. There was stoned delivery men, hidden blowers, and saws all involved. FWIW, I can’t recommend a certain big box home repair depot for appliance purchases.
Arrowhead Park is one of my new local trails, and I managed to sneak away for a few hours one Friday morning and check them out. Lots of fun!
Jen ordered herself a set of Industry Nine & Stan’s Flow EX wheels, and ordered an identical pair (other than color) as a gift for one of her riding buddies. The new lime green color option from I9 is sweet!
I snuck out for another hour recently and found a nice rive-side park a short ride from the house. There’s several miles of paved trails, and few miles of un-paved trails as well. This will be my go-to quick ride from the front door. Due to heavy rain and flooding (the river rose nearly 28ft!) the park is currently closed and mostly underwater however.
Aaron is a friend and a repeat customer, this is the third set of wheels he’s purchased. A shiny retro-style wheelset for his new-to-him old school Merckx steel roadie.
