Neal had some issues with a Mavic wheelset recently and wanted something more reliable for his training wheelset. He also wanted a power meter to really focus his training. The PowerTap G3 rear hub will provide all the power info Neal needs to focus his training, and the pricing on the PowerTap hubs has been drastically reduced this year thanks to competition from other power meters, like the crank-based Stages. The front White Industries T11 hub is made in the USA, has good wide flange spacing, and super smooth bearings. The Pacenti SL23 rims are my favorite alloy road rim available at the moment for most riders. The 24mm exterior width matches up very nicely with 23-28mm road tires making for a smooth aero-friendly rim to tire sidewall transition, the brake track has consistent smooth machining, and it’s tubeless ready. Sapim CX-Ray spokes keep weight down and their bladed shape helps cut through the wind.
